Golden Gavel Meeting Information:

We meet the second Wednesday of every month, except December. We usually have a social gathering during December.

Our meetings are held at Thalia Lynn Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
The church is located next to Princess Anne High School on Virginia Beach Boulevard (3/4 mile east of Pembroke Mall, between the Independence and Rosemont exits of I-264).

Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. and last until around 9:00 p.m. Meeting reminders are made by both telephone and email.

All meetings feature a program lesson on Parliamentary Procedure.
The atmosphere is a relaxed learning environment where questions are always in order and discussed with enthusiasm.

From time to time, the Unit offers "Early Bird" training sessions for its members.

Feel free to bring refreshments.

Feel free to bring a friend or two! We welcome all visitors.

(Forms are also available at any meeting or can be sent to you by "snail mail.")
Fill out the membership form.
Attach your dues check for $25.00 made out to “Golden Gavel Unit.”
Dues for all levels of membership are currently $25.00. If you have not yet passed the NAP Membership Exam then you will be a provisional (student) member of Golden Gavel.
Bring the application form accompanied by your check to any meeting or mail them to:
